Second day in da Bay
Went for a trek in Cat Ba National Park today - a short one mind... only 4 km, whereas the other is 12 km !!! Still was pretty tough though, but eventually we arrived at a rusty look-out post at the top of a mountain where we had a full 360 degree view of Cat Ba Island... the scenery is lush and full of wildlife like eagles and snakes.
After getting back, I did a little exploring away from the tour for the rest of the day and came upon a nice little beach cove with a view of the surrounding rock-formations! This is where I chilled for the rest of the day (I was beginning to miss beach-life after being away for so long!!!) while being mobbed by loads of Vietnamese teenagers curious to grab my hairy arms (Vietnamese people of course dont have hair on their arms!)
All in good fun... nice relaxing day!
