Marine Biologists abounding
Still in the big "small town" of Townsville today. By chance I met up with the Swedish guys in a local car park and one of em (John) has gone to dive the Yalonga wreck today so Ill see what he thinks before I commit myself to taking the plunge.
I headed off on me own-ios last night to sample some of the night life here (the lads were taking it easy so didnt pop along) and was quite surprised to see so much going. There are some very classy nightclubs in this country town and I felt I had to run back to the car to dress up a tad before heading out proper (no getting away with flip-flops and shorts this time, unlike in Airlie where that is the norm... even in the nightclubs!)
Using the old Irish charm I met up with a group of girls going to the local uni here (everyone here seems to study Marine Biology?!?) and we all headed out to sample the nightlife! Much drinking n dancing was had and Ive been invited to a uni gig this evening so that should rock! Will tell ya how it goes tommorrow!!
