Update from the road!
Ive managed to find my first net access point in 2 days in Port Macquarie camping grounds!
Last night was spent near Newcastle in a place called Stockton. The camping ground services in Australia are impressive to say the least and the place I found had facilities like hot showers and even an electrical plug point beside the grassy area I was allocated for 17 dollars!
The van works like a dream and I got a great and comfortable sleep with total privacy even though it got a bit cold last night... the moon roof is fantastic and I was able to look at the (quite large!!) moon in the sky all night.... the moon was so amazing over the sea I tried to take a photo but I dont think it came out too well.. it looks bigger than Ive ever seen it before and it must be something to do with the angle of Australia to the sky (shrug)
Anyhoo, tonight Im further north in Port Macquarie and staying in a camp site for 20 dollars.
Id better run because this net access is free and a few people are waiting to use it (Ill also update the position of the dot on the map once I get a chance)...
